The Accent unipolar handpiece allows deep controlled penetration of RF.
The unipolar handpiece contains an RF-resonant system, a thermo-electric coupling (TEC) cooler and a red pushbutton for activating the system.
The freehand, dynamic (rubbing) technique employed using the unipolar handpiece enables rapid, safe, and effective treatment without the need for disposables, ground electrodes or stationary maneuvers. The popularity of this new technique lies in the speed of its operation and performance (dynamic), as well as the fact that it involves no wound care or patient down time.
Accent does not require coupling gel, return electrodes, or very good contact (pressure), and can be used in motion, with no adjustments for changes in fluence.
